In comparison to all other rerailing systems available on the market, the system not only provides the feature of repositioning the shifting cylinder. It also prevents the lifted load from any uncontrolled movement. This guarantees a full control of all movements during the rerailing procedure. Also further components of the side shifting device – roller carriages, shifting cylinder, distance bars – have been fully redeveloped. The usage of high-tensile aluminum alloys made a considerable weight reduction possible. In addition the pulling force of the shifting cylinder was increased by 65%.
