Industrial clerk

Industrial clerks are employed in all commercial departments of an industrial company. At Hegenscheidt-MFD, industrial clerks can expect a multitude of different assignments. In the material management department, they compare offers, negotiate with our suppliers and look after the goods receiving department and warehousing. In production management, they plan, control and monitor the production of our products and compile the accompanying order documents. Working on calculations and price lists and conducting sales negotiations with the customers is among their tasks in the sales and service departments.

In the field of accounting or finances, industrial clerks record and monitor the processes occurring in business transactions. In Human Resources, they determine the manpower requirements, help in recruitment and selection of personnel, plan the use of personnel and handle the pay statements for our employees.

An industrial clerk is a recognised occupation that requires training as set out in the German Vocational Training Act (BBiG), with a 3-year training course.
